Ibiza these days is often called the new St. Tropez. The international Haute Volee´has fallen in love with the island and the balearic beauty is changing more and more into a luxury destination of first choice. Visitors have always adored the unique spirit and the unspoilt nature of the island but whoever was expecting a proper infrastructure, safety or even family friendly holidays often faced bad surprises. The smaller sister of Mallorca is mature now, there is a real road network and if you are looking for an uncomplicated and secure holiday you can find this in recently built new residential areas or "Urbanisaciones" as they are called here.
Here you are far far away from the hassle of peak season´s invasion and you can concentrate solely on the beauty of the island. A welldone example for the unification of the spirit of St. Tropez and Ibiza is our villa Azur. This 3 bedroom villa is to be found in the urbanisacion Vista Alegre, perfectly situated between Cala Jondal and Es Cubels, in the south west. The recently built villa blends typical Cote d´Azur elements such as the tiled roof, columns or light pastel colours with moorish elements which quote the history of Eivissa. This is a pure retreat. While the masses during August will get grilled on crowdy beaches you will enjoy the chirping of cicadas and the gentle breeze over the hill. The villa does not require air conditioning due to its location and concept of construction.
But you will only want to stay in the house during nightime anyway since the vila is simply made for living outside. The spacious terrace is the stage for the spectacular scenery of the Porroig peninsula. You will spend days watching the anchoring superyachts or letting your eyes fly all the way to Formentera. In this spot time surely passes by much more slowly than down in the valley. The time units here are the chapters of your book or the walks to the pool bar where three (!) fridges provide a never ebbing source of refreshment. Apart from the pool bar many shaded lounging spaces will protect you from midday´s heat. The villa is surrounded by a nice Mediterranean garden which is rather steep and offers hardly any grassland. As a consequence in case you travel with kids you might want to visit the Cala Jondal from time to time which is only a very short drive away.
1st level: two double bedrooms (one double, one twin beds) with ensuite shower bath, each with its own terrace.
Poolarea: Pool (8x3 metres), large barbecure area with pool bar (3 fridges), plein air dining table seating 8. Das Haus benötigt keine Klimaanlage verfügt aber über Fußbodenheizung.
Outside parking for 2 cars, no garage.
